This is a case that has kept me restless since late summer. I tried designing it with various trees - from trees covered in ornaments to those with bright green leaves. But the reason I wanted to create a tree case in the first placewas the star at the very top. So, I made sure to focus on making the star stand out the very star that led the wise men to baby Jesus.
There was a time when Christmas was filled with grand parties, and I worried that the true star of Christmas, Jesus, might be forgotten. But now, it feels like Christmas has simply become just another holiday. We even hear people saying, “Happy Holidays!” instead.
But Northfield has a message to keep sharing this winter:
“Jesus is the reason for the season.”
